Doctor Who – A Christmas Carol

On Christmas, December 25, 2010 the world’s longest running sci-fi TV series will air its sixth Christmas special with the Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol. In terms of where the episode sits in the chronology of Moffat’s tenure on the show, it picks up with Rory and Amy on their honeymoon, him in his Armour, her as a policewoman. Gambon is clearly having a lot of fun here, and makes for a strong Scrooge-like figure. And for those fearing Katherine Jenkins is stunt casting gone wrong, then fear not. The part fits her a treat, and even when she opens her mouth to belt out a song, you’re unlikely to mind. We’ve seen songs shoehorned uncomfortably into Doctor Who in the past, but not here. Murray Gold’s score tucks terrifically well around the many deliberately quiet and steady moments of the story, too. Really looking forward to this – the sets and lighting look fantastic. The Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol will star Matt Smith as the Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, and Arthur Darvill as Rory Williams as well as guest starring Katherine Jenkins and Michael Gambon. Ivy remains upset by her mother’s actions with Oscar and decides to rebuild her relationship with her father. Dixon and Annie decide to help Debbie get back into the dating world by signing her up for online dating, but while on her first date, she and Ryan sneak away for some one-on-one time at the Beach Club. While at the beach luau, Teddy gets jealous when he sees Ian with another guy and allows his feelings to control his actions. Navid and Adrianna’s relationship is strained now that she has found fame, which leads him closer and closer to Silver. Oliver’s suspicions are confirmed when the registration location is revealed to be a trap designed to locate and arrest superheroes. Oliver is then transported to an undisclosed jail where Col. Slade Wilson orders “brutal tests” on him. I really love the scene where Teri Hatcher and Erica Durance share the screen. It was an incredibly overwhelming moment seeing two of these Lois Lanes on the screen. Although they weren’t in the same room, they certainly gave performances that connected them both women. They even have similarity on their features. They look like real mother and daughter. So guys! Don’t miss to Watch Smallville Season 10 Episode 9 this Friday.

We’ve been wondering, not just about him, but also about the black box that had everyone hunting him a few episodes back. So what did Owen do with it once he dug it up? Owen leaks secret information from Division’s black boxes to the media, revealing that the U.S. Government was responsible for an assassination in Chile. As a result, Percy frames a C.I.A. agent, Ryan for the crime. Nikita and Owen go to Chile to rescue Ryan from mercenaries and in doing so end up getting captured. Nikita reveals the secrets of Division to Ryan in an effort to save all of their lives. Back inside Division, Alex spies on Percy and Birkhoff and witnesses a side to Percy she has never seen before. These questions and more will, hopefully, all be answered in the next episode where we welcome Owen’s return after Michael’s atrocious behavior. We know Michael was upset about the whole “failing to get revenge on the man who murdered his family” thing but that’s no excuse for tossing your ex-lover from a car in the middle of a deserted street in Uzbekistan. Seriously, Michael needs to relax and stop being such an angry drama queen! If he’d just let Nikita have the shot at Kasim in the first place, the guy would most likely be dead already!
